Her domain of research was non-destructive and rapid evaluation of dairy food quality using spectroscopy. The results obtained from spectroscopy were compared with traditional methods. Her graduation was also in Food Engineering from the same university. Her graduation final year project was fabrication of domestic pasteurizer and checking the quality and sensory attributes of pasteurized milk.

Dr. Gordon Huang is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Energy and Environment, and Executive Director of the Institute for Energy, Environment and Sustainable Communities at the University of Regina, Canada. He holds BSC from Peking University (China), MSc from Simon Fraser University (Canada) and PhD from McMaster University (Canada). Since the 1990s, Huang has led or been involved in over 150 environment-related research projects, produced over 700 peer-refereed international journal papers (with an H-index of 46 in Science Citation Index), and supervised over 100 Master/PhD students. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and the President of the International Society for Environmental Information Sciences. He also acts (or acted) as editor-in-chief for 2 international journals and editorial board member for over 10 journals, and was conference chair or keynote speaker at over 40 international events. He has also served the United Nations Development Programme as Chief Scientist for the Program of Rural Water Resources Management and Drinking Water Safety, and was involved in a number of UNDP-supported research activities in China.
Mohammad Ebrahim Banihabib

Professor Mohammad Ebrahim Banihabib received his PhD of Water Resource Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan. Currently, he is a Professor in University of Tehran, Iran. He had studied debris flow experimentally and numerically proposing empirical equations for sediment transport and hydraulic roughness of high-concentrated flow, and a 2D mathematical model for the simulation of debris flow. Recently, he has focused on three major research topics publishing 110 journal papers: experimental and numerical research on debris flood control, innovative models for the forecasting of floods and reservoir inflows, and sustainable development concepts and strategic planning of water resources management.

Mohamed El-Esawi is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Botany Department of Faculty of Science at Tanta University in Egypt. He has received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Tanta University in Egypt, and his PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Dublin Institute of Technology, Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) in Ireland. Afterwards, Dr. El-Esawi joined the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom as a Visiting Research Fellow. Then, he joined the University of Sorbonne (Pierre and Marie Curie-UPMC) in France as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Following those positions, Dr. El-Esawi joined the Division of Crop Biotechnics of KU Leuven in Belgium as a Research Fellow. Then, he joined the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom as a Visiting Research Fellow. Dr. El-Esawi is very interested in Genetics, Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Molecular Plant Physiology, Developmental Biology, Plant-Microbe Interaction, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics. He has given numerous talks and participated at more than 55 conferences, meetings, and workshops in highly regarded institutions nationally and internationally. He has received several awards and grants from international organizations including DAFF, ASRT, IRO, COST.
