Professor Efterpi Christaki, Laboratory of Nutrition, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is veterinarian, nutritionist, graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2015-2017 she served as Head of the Department of Animal Production. Her research interests include nutrition, functional foods and bioactive substances macro- and micro algae, feed additives such as probiotics, prebiotics, aromatic plants, herbal extracts, and quality of animal feeds. She has been member of National Organization for Medicines for the sector of feed additives,member of several Scientific Associations, evaluator for several national and international projects, reviewer and member of editorial boards in several peer-reviewed journals, member of Scientific and Organizing Committees as well as invited speaker or chair in many national and international Conferences. She is member of Research team in more than 20 funded research projects. She has more than 300 publications (6 books, 6 chapters in interantional books,editorials, research articles, reviews, congress presentations).
Dr. Avishek Biswas obtained his B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from WBUAFS, Kolkata, India M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. from IVRI, Izatnagar, India. He is presently working as Senior Scientist, Nutrition and Feed Technology Division, Central Avian Research Institute, Izatnagar. Dr. Biswas is a well-known scientist in Animal Nutrition especially in Poultry Nutrition for his contributions in the field of research, teaching and extension. He is an outstanding researcher and made significant contribution in field of diversified poultry species and developed several novel nutritional strategies, diagnostic and prophylactic modalities and least cost feed formulation with use of alternate feed resources in high altitude region. He has handled 15 research projects. Dr. Biswas has edited 8 books/proceedings, 4 teaching manuals, published 65 research papers in reputed international and national journals, 10 technical bulletins, 25 book chapters, 18 extension/popular articles. He is recipient of several prestigious national and international awards.
After graduating from the UVAS Lahore during 1982, Prof Qureshi joined the provincial Livestock Department and was involved in semen processing and veterinary research. In the meantime he joined the University again and completed PhD degree. During 2005 he joined the University of Agriculture, Peshawar as professor and was raised to the status of Dean. He has been involved in teaching, research, development and industrial linkages. Prof Qureshi has advised two successive Chief Ministers on utilization of livestock resources in light of findings under his doctoral thesis research reporting losses of Rs.1043 billion per annum. The farmers were organized and linked with various R&D organizations. Livestock Investment Conference was organized in collaboration with SCCI in 2005 inaugurated by the Chief Minister. He organized the International Workshop on Dairy Science Park -2011 as Chief Organizer, inaugurated by Minister for Agriculture and concluded by the Minister for Livestock. It was attended by 450+ delegates, with 103 technical papers and exhibition by 10 business companies. The Second workshop scheduled for 2013 will focus on developing enterprising capacity of livestock and poultry farmers of Pak-Afghan Region. Presently Prof Qureshi is organizing a working team for converting the livestock and poultry meat production setup in the province into an export base for Halal Food Market under the Dairy Science Park. The provincial government, TIKA-Turkey, Pak-US S&T project, Agribusiness Support Fund, Relief International and KPCCI are assisting in implementation of the plan. This will supplement the medium sized livestock farmers in the region through business support initiatives. Karkila - Display Center has been established for introducing innovations into Food Value Chain with special focus on generating decent employment and exportable surpluses.

A dynamic and creative leader putting emphasis on timely delivery and team work with strong planning, organizational, motivational and prioritization skills, He has over 40+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in teaching, R&D, diagnostics, manufacture, QA&QC of Veterinary vaccines and disease control procedures; had extensive experience in mammalian cell culture - R&D, manufacture and QC of veterinary vaccines including FMD in BHK 21 deep suspension cell culture , sheep pox, bluetongue, and poultry vaccines . Had 7 experience with international groups on World Bank, USAID/FAO, EC projects. Has significant familiarity with multicultural environment. Major contributions are in the area of Highly Pathogenic and Emerging Diseases (HPEDs) and Transboundary Animal Diseases - Avian influenza (H5N1), FMD, capripox, bluetongue, PPR, New castle disease, PRRS etc. Scientific contributions were made on AMR and one health etc. Contributed to development of country program on bluetongue for India. Contributed significantly for the design and implementation of the World Bank India’s national pandemic preparedness and HPAI control program. Major focus was on capacity building - FETPV and laboratory training, lab networking, , surveillance of HPEDs in South Asia. Conceptualized and established new institutions to impart skill oriented veterinary, dairy and fishery education. expertise in program management, building relationships, effective communication, and inspiring others. Maintained an extensive network of contacts at senior government level in South Asia. Received several awards and fellowships including national outstanding teacher’s awards in India.
Dr. Lachhman Das Singla, M.V.Sc., Ph.D., born on September 20,1965, presently serving in second tenure as Professor-cum- Head, Department of Veterinary Parasitology, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana, Punjab, since 30th October 2017, is an active teacher, mentor, researcher and academician of international repute. He graduated from Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana in the year 1989. He completed his post graduation in Veterinary Parasitology from Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana with the much coveted Junior Research Fellowship of the Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi. Dr. Singla then served the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Punjab, as Veterinary Officer from January 21, 1992 to December 18, 1992. Thereafter, he joined Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana as Assistant Professor of Veterinary Parasitology on December 19, 1992. After completion Ph.D in the year 2001, Dr. Singla was promoted to post of Associate Professor and later as Professor, Veterinary Parasitology. During the period of service as field veterinarian, academician and researcher for more than 25 years of service, Dr. Singla has planned, promoted coordinated and conducted research, education and extension activities on improved diagnosis and control of parasitic diseases, with sole aim to minimize economic losses and enhance the socio-economic status of the farmers of Punjab state. His research interests are focused on epidemiology of parasitic diseases, diagnostics, chemotherapeutic and immunomodulatory / immunoprophylactic approaches for the management of parasitic diseases and that too for protozoa of zoonotic and public health importance in particular. Dr. Singla has penned 70 national articles, 60 international articles including 16 review papers in various peer reviewed journals of repute. He has also authored many chapters in books and monographs on specialized issues of concern.He has mentored and trained 30 M.V.Sc students and 15 Ph.D students, excluding three foreign Scientists from Egypt, Guinea and Sudan. Dr. Lachhman Das Singla, was awarded Dr. M.S. Randhawa Gold Medal in 2001 by PAU, Ludhiana, Prof. Dr. B.V. Rao Gold Medal in 2002 by Indian Veterinary Association and Siksha Rattan Puruskar in 2009 by India International Friendship Society for his meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role in Veterinary education and research, primarily in the field of Veterinary Parasitology. He is the recipient of prestigious Dr. D. P. Banerjee memorial Oration Award- 2013 and Smt. Nisha Mani Parija Oration Award-2014 from Indian Association for Advancement in Veterinary Parasitology (IAAVP) in recognition of valuable contributions and achievements in the field of Veterinary Protozoology and Parasitic Zoonoses. Dr. Singla is a Fellow of National Academy of Veterinary Sciences, Indian Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology and Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH). He holds membership of various international and National societies including the World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (WAAVP), the apex body for Veterinary Parasitology in the world. Presently Dr. Singla is the Joint Secretary of Indian Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (IAAVP). Dr. L.D. Singla has attended several international scientific meetings, trainings and workshops at Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, England, France, Italy, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, United States of America and Vietnam, being competitively funded through various international and national agencies like Commonwealth Science Council (London), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, World Association for Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Department of Science and Technology and Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Dr. Vaitheeswaran Thiruvengadam M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., (Zoology/Fisheries Science), Bharathidasan University, Trichy, India. He holds over 24 years of fisheries resource management and taxonomy, and he has received and awarded (Ph.D) Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship Award (AUS $ 73,200), Doctor of Philosophy, School of Aquaculture, University of Tasmania, Australia. He has served as Senior Researcher and Lecturer in Government Institution of India, Uganda and Malawi. He has been working as a Lecturer 1, Department of Aquaculture, DMI St. John the Baptist University, Republic of Malawi, Central Africa from July 2018 onwards to till date. He got fisheries experience with 24 years in fisheries biology and resource management and seventeen project was completed and handled with wild extensive field surver from Gulf of Mannar, India and form management and extensions, scientific community tilapia, pangasis, catla, rohu, mirgal, brackishwater species Etroplus, seabass, milk fish, mullets, marine species viz, spiny lobster species, crab, shrimp and prawn, biofloc technology, marine ornamental fish and fisheries, with hatchery and culture, feed management, juvenile, cage culture with Victoria Lake at Uganda, and culture of various species, species like finfish and shellfish groups. Project Head: Breeding, seed production and culture of Nile Tilapia (O. niloticus), Victoria Treasures Limited, Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. He has a penchant desire and devotion to Teaching and Research work in the field of fisheries science. He has good experience in handling the classes on the Taxonomy of finfish and shellfish and advances in fisheries biology and physiology to under and postgraduate students. Dr. Vaitheeswaran Thiruvengadam has over 103 substantial publications, including 37 papers in international peer-reviewed publications, 26 National peer-reviewed papers, 12 international conference papers 13 co-edited book, monographs, and training manual, 3 reviewed chapter, 201 external report in English and Tamil newspaper report, and he has new records of finfish and shellfish species of marine invertebrate species of 68 numbers were reported for the first time in Indian coast, Indo-West Pacific coast of Gulf of Mannar, India. I am assisted in the taxonomic description of a new species of cuttle-fish Sepia ramani and Sepia prabahari for the first time from world waters.
Dr. Bhupinder Singh Sandhu has completed his PhD from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, India. He is the Incharge rabies diagnostic laboratory in the department of Veterinary Pathology GADVASU and working in research project “Establishment of research cum diagnostic laboratory for rabies”. He has published more than 100 research papers in national and international journals of repute. He attended and presented scientific papers in more than 30 national and international conferences and got more than 16 awards (Young Scientist award, Best poster presentaion award, Best Paper award etc) on his work. He has guided 17 M.V.Sc. and 5 Ph. D students. He has completed 4 research projects on intravitam diagnosis of rabies and calf diarrhoea in animals.
Dr. Alka Tomar has completed her PhD from ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar; Master & Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences from GBPUA&Tech, Pantnagar; and Bachelor of Science from Lucknow University, UP, India. She underwent her Postdoctoral Training at the ICGEB, New Delhi, India. She is a Principal Scientist, heading Tumor Immunology Laboratory at ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar, a premier National Research Institute in India. She has published more than 25 papers in reputed journals and has presented nearly 70 papers in national and international conferences. She has been Principal Investigator (PI) of 9 Research Projects, and Co-PI of 3 Research Projects. She has Chaired/Co-chaired many Scientific Sessions, and has been a recipient of several Awards and Honors.

Ahmed Hegazi is currently a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology in the department of Zoonotic Diseases, National Research Centre, Egypt. Prof. Hegazi received his master's degree in 1979, and his PhD in 1981. Hegazi's research work has been focused lately on bee products and their therapeutic effects. Hegazi Organized and contributed to national and international research projects since 1977 and up till now; he has been the principal investigator on multiple research projects within the National Research Center. He has published 166 scientific papers and articles in national and international journals. He also served on the board of multiple national and international scientific journals. Dr. Hegazi is also the president of the Egyptian Environmental Society for Uses and Production of Bee Products, secretary of the Egyptian Society of Apitherapy, secretary general of the African Federation of Apiculture Associations, and a member of the International Apitherapy Commission (APIMONDIA).

Dr. Fathy consulted, trained, and made field visits to several companies working in the animal health and nutrition field, as well as several industry integrations in Egypt and the Middle East. His scientific interests include, but are not limited to, feeding and nutrition, gut health, general health and clinical nutrition, feed formulations, nutrition and immunity, feed processing and manufacturing, vitamin and mineral premix, moulds, mould inhibitors, biotoxins and anti-biotoxins, as well as concepts such as minimal nutrition and euobiosis
Hari Mohan Srivastava is currently a Emeritus professor in the department of Mathematics and Statistics at University of Victoria, Canada. He received his PhD in 1965 and D.Sc in 2006 and 2007. He was listed in the Second Place among Canada’s Top Researchers in the discipline of Mathematics and Statistics in Terms of Productivity and Impact Based Upon a Measure of Citations to Their Published works. He received awards like NSERC—Year Award, University of Victoria, Canada in 2004, The Nishiwaki Prize: Japan in 2004, Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa): Chung Yuan Christian University, Chung-Li, Taiwan, Republic of China (2006), Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa): ‘1 Decembrie 1918’ University of Alba Iulia, Romania (2007). Currently, he is actively associated editorially (that is, as an editor, honorary editor, senior editor, associate editor, or editorial board member) with over 200 international scientific research journals.
Lior Guttman obtained his Ph.D. from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel following postdoctoral studies at the same institute. He is interested in aquaculture-related aspects of microbiology and microbial ecology, including bacteria and aquatic plants-algae. His research cover RAS and IMTA systems, plants- and bacterial- based biofilters, nutrients recycling, nutrition, algae decomposition, and microbial ecology with respect to inter- community and host- microbes interactions. Currently, he is a senior research scientist at The National Center for Mariculture of Israel Oceanographic & Limnological Research in Eilat, Israel.
Prof. Dr. Said Elshahat Abdallah is working as Professor of Agricultural Process Engineering, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. He was born on January 6, 1972. He obtained his Ph. D. degree in Technical Sciences in November 2005 from the Faculty of Design, Don State Technical University, Russia. He prepared many scientific literatures such as Engineering of Food Factories and Dairy Plants, Engineering Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, introduction to agricultural process engineering, Instrumentation, Properties and Testing of Engineering Materials, Fitting of Curves and Differential Equations and Differentiation & Integration, etc… He published more than thirty research articles in international peer- reviewed journals. He supervised, has done and examined about twenty M. Sc. and Ph. D. dissertations. He participated in several either local or international conferences on the topics of Agricultural Process Engineering. He contributed in the attendance of many meetings, workshops and training courses. Susana Gorzalczany is dedicated to pharmacology teaching for over 25 years as Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is Pharmacist and Biochemist and PhD in the area of pharmacology. She serve as vice director of career in the pharmaceutical industry specialization: Development area and Quality Assurance. As Director, She is in charge of postgraduate courses “Biopharmaceuticals drugs: the complexity in clinical uses and quality assurance” and “Biological assay for drugs, chemicals and cosmetics”. She has several peer-reviewed publications in international journals of pharmaceutical science and she has the honor to serve as reviewer for some of them. Professor Gorzalczany specializes in the preclinical evaluation of drugs using animal models to analyze both pharmacological and toxicological aspects.
