Dr. Esmaiel Jabbari is a Professor of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Director of Biomimetic Materials and Tissue Engineering Laboratory and Adjunct Professor of Orthopedic Surgery of the School of Medicine at the University of South Carolina USA. He earned his PhD at Purdue University West Lafayette. He has edited one book published 130 Reviewed papers and has authored 8 book chapters. He has teaching experience of more than 10 years. He served as a reviewer of peerreviewed journals in the area of biomimetic and bioinspired materials. He organized and chaired sessions for the Society for Biomaterials and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He received many awards including the Stephan B Milam Research Award from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation. He is a member of Global WHO and New York Academy of Sciences. He is on the advisory board of the International Conferences on Smart Materials Structures and Systems and Technologies
