Perumal Kaliraj has been working on lymphatic filariasis for the past three decades on aspects of prophylactics, diagnostics and therapeutics. He has also indigenously developed rapid detection kit Signal-MF for the identification of filarial specific antibodies. He worked as professor for nearly 20 years and as director of Centre for Biotechnology, and also Dean and Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai, India. Currently he is working as ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) Emeritus Medical Scientist.

Diana Deleanu, Professor, Head of Department of Immunology, with experience of teaching this subject for 20 years. It is the originator of Allergology and Immunology compulsory education in UMF Cluj-Napoca. She has held courses in all faculties of medicine and dentistry in Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy and other universities in the Romania. She contributed to courses for students of Medicine. The research translates into 10 grants and numerous national and international clinical trials. Subject research mainly refers to allergy and immunologic disease. She performed the first studies of epidemiology in allergic diseases in Romania. Diana Deleanu is the President of Romanian Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology 2006 and she is the editor in chief of the Romanian Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Victor de Vries did his PhD in molecular biology and specialized in immunology at Dartmouth Medical School, NH, USA. Having worked in Europe, Northern America and South-East Asia (SEA) expanded his global view on research and development. He helped with the establishment of a life-science university in Jakarta, Indonesia as both program manager for biomedicine and bioinformatics as well as director of research and innovation. He organized numerous events, to raise excitement about bio-science in the next generation. Currently, he is president of SEAWAY, a consultancy firm which supports research initiatives in SEA and is working in Singapore to setup a preclinical unit for a company specialized in anti-cancer cellular immunotherapy.
Joann Blessing-Moore is an allergist-immunologist for adults and children and a Pedi Pulmonologist. She was trained at Stanford and stayed on at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital/Stanford. She is affiliated with multiple hospitals, including El Camino Hospital and Mills-Peninsula Health Services-Burlingame. She received her medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Joann has been the founding editor of the national task force (working with the National Allergy organizations ACAAI, AAAAI) on the Parameters for Asthma, Allergy care. She has worked on the Pulmonary Parameters in the Past (ACCP-Chest).
Ahmed Hegazi is currently a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology in the National Research Center, Egypt. Hegazi received his master’s degree in 1979, and his PhD in 1981. Hegazi's research work has been focused lately on bee products and their therapeutic effects. Hegazi organized and contributed to national and international research projects since 1977 and up till now; he has been the principal investigator on multiple research projects within the National Research Center. He has published 211 scientific papers and articles in national and international journals. He also served on the board of multiple national and international scientific journals. Hegazi is also the president of the Egyptian Environmental Society for Uses and Production of Bee Products, secretary of the Egyptian Society of Apitherapy, secretary general of the African Federation of Apiculture Associations, and a member of the International Apitherapy Commission (APIMONDIA).

He is also the President of RAK Update in Nephrology and Transplantation meeting series. He is the founder of the Nephrology unit in New Damietta faculty of Medicine in 1999. ElEssawy moved to Jean Monnet university saint Etienne France 1997 where he started his work in the PhD in immunology (health and live science) obtained in 2005. During his stay in France he has obtained 6 subspecialty diplomas in immunology and medicine. He has been working as a visiting professor and consulting in prince sultan military complex and King Fahad south military complex in KSA 2007-2011.
